These are the skincare products that I use, I am not a skin expert but these are just some products I like to use on my skin. My skin is not sensitive, I have an oily t-zone and dry eyes so what works for me may not work for you (the products mentioned will be linked below). I hope you enjoy reading and make sure to subscribe via email to make sure you never miss a blog post!
Soap and Glory: Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Deep Cleansing Milk.
I always start off my skincare routine by removing all of make-up. This Soap and Glory deep cleansing milk claims to purify & clarify, dissolve make-up, energize and smooth in just a couple of pumps! I have been using this for about 2 months now and trust me, a little goes such a long way with this product! It is recommended for all skin types but it does have a pretty strong scent so if you are sensitive to that you may want to stay clear of this product. I find Soap and Glory an all round great brand and this product, in particular, does exactly what it says it does! I will always use this first and remove as much makeup as I can with this before going into any more products. http://www.boots.ie/soap-and-glory/soap-and-glory-skincare/peaches-and-clean-deep-cleansing-milk-350ml-10194620
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
I use the Garnier Micellar cleansing water to remove any excess make-up that was left on my face. I find this is the only thing that can really get all of the make-up off of my face. This product can be used on your eyes, face, and lips. It is unscented and is suitable for sensitive skin. Garnier have lots of different types of this micellar water for different skin types but this one is my favourite! I have never used something so wonderful for taking off my make-up. I have been using this for about 3-4 months and I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out! http://www.boots.ie/garnier-micellar-cleansing-water-400ml-10169115
Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash.
This product is not something I use every day because I feel personally, that would be too much for my skin to handle. I use this every second day after a shower as that is when your pores would be open. It says that this product is for all skin types but once again it has quite a strong scent so if you are sensitive to that it is not a product I would recommend. It is advertised to smooth, clean, and purify the skin and this is 100% true. It is by far one of the best facial washes/exfoliators I have ever used and I have been using this for about a month now. I don’t think I will repurchase after I’ve used this simply because I like to change up my facial wash/exfoliator pretty often so I can try other brands and formulas! http://www.soapandglory.com/face-soap-and-claritytm
Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot.
This is a pretty new product to my skincare routine. I had always wanted to try it because I have seen so many people talk about how good it is. I saw it was on sale at half price about a week ago so I finally decided to pick it up. You can use this by mixing it with your night time moisturizer or you can apply it directly to your face. I do the latter every night after I remove my makeup. It is quite strong so I don’t think I would recommend it for sensitive skin and also be extremely careful around your eyes with this product because if it does com into contact with your eyes it will burn! When I first got it I rubbed a small drop on the back of my hand and it stung initially and went red but once applied to my face it was perfect. I haven’t noticed any immediate results with this yet as I have only been using it a week but I will be sure to keep you updated on how this product is going for me! You can still get this product for half price if you follow the link! http://www.boots.ie/nipfab-glycolic-fix-radiance-shot-30ml-10229322p
Superdrug Nourishing Eye Cream.
This inexpensive eye cream is high in antioxidants, rich in natural vitamin E and also defends the skin against environmental damage. Although I have pretty oily skin, I tend to get quite dry eyelids and under eyes so I picked this up for that reason (and also the low price tag helped) and I must say I am impressed. I’ve only been using this for just over a week and use it every night and I have noticed a massive improvement in my eyes. They feel a lot more nourished and healthy. It has a very very slight smell but nothing that I would be worried about. Although it is a very small tube a little bit goes a very long way as you only need the smallest amount to rub onto your eyelids. This product has thought me that you don’t need to spend half of your wages on a good eye cream, you can get one for a really nice price! http://www.superdrug.com/Skin/Eyes/Eye-Creams/Superdrug-Vitamin-E-Eye-Cream-15ml/p/282500
Superdrug Hydrating Mist.
This hydrating mist comes from the same brand as the eye cream and was also extremely inexpensive. This mist is so so so hydrating and I use it after I take my make-up off but I also like to spray it on my face a couple of times when my make-up is done and it gives a really nice finish to my make-up. I would almost say it’s even a dupe for Mac’s fix plus, it has the same feeling and gives the same finish but the price difference is insane! I find mists run out especially fast because we tend to go a bit crazy with the sprays! However, this mist will definitely not break the bank! I have been using it for about 2-3 weeks and haven’t broken out or anything as, like the eye cream, it is rich in vitamin E, high in antioxidants and defends the skin against environmental damage. Unfortunately, I could not find this product on the Superdrug website but I only purchased it 2-3 weeks ago and there was plenty of them in there!
L’oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity/Detox Mask.
I am sure everyone has heard about these already! There was a lot of hype about these L’oreal masks a few months ago and everyone had to have them, including me! I don’t use these often, once or twice a week at the most. The Detox Mask (the grey one) is a charcoal based mask, this acts like a magnet and draws out all of the dirt stuck beneath your pores. This is a fantastic mask and works super well, however, it has caused some people to break out, a lot of people say that is because it is detoxing your skin but maybe just be cautious using this and avoid using it before big events. The Purity Mask (the light green one) is not one I use often as I feel it doesn’t do what it says. It is supposed to mattify the skin and help prevent oiliness, as someone with oily skin I just feel this one isn’t worth the money but I will link it below just in case you want to try it for yourself! Out of the two, I would 10/10 recommend the Detox Mask, it works a treat!
